How To Replace Filter
To replace filters, simply remove the old filter by twisting the base of your Sovae showerhead. Once the base is removed, take out your old filter and replace it with your new filter.

What Makes Your Shower Water Feel Cleaner
When we set out to build Sovae, we noticed shower filters came in two kinds. The cheap kind, with one thin sheet of carbon that barely does anything. And the over-built kind, with so many layers crammed inside that they choke your water pressure more than they clean your water. We didn't want either. So we designed PureFlow with six layers, tuned to reduce chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, rust, and other impurities while keeping your pressure strong.
Chlorine doesn't stay quiet in a hot shower. The warmer the water, the more of it you end up rinsing through your hair and over your skin. Calcium sulfite works to target that chlorine before your water ever touches you.
A rough rinse can leave hair feeling roughed up before you've even reached for product. Ceramic balls smooth the way the water moves through the filter, so it glides over your hair instead of dragging at it. Strands come out feeling calmer and easier to handle.
Shower water often carries traces of dissolved metals. KDF-55 reduces them before they reach your hair and scalp. If your hair ever feels straw-like or dull right after washing, this is the layer working against that.
Many cities now treat their water with chloramine, a longer-lasting cousin of chlorine that's harder to filter out. The vitamin C stage helps neutralize it gently, right at the showerhead. For skin that feels itchy or reactive after a shower, this layer matters more than most people realize.
It's easy to blame age when your skin starts to feel tight, dull, or wrinkly. But the chlorine in your shower water can leave skin feeling stripped long before the mirror tells you why. Activated carbon works to reduce that chlorine before it reaches your face, so skin feels less tight and looks less tired after every shower.
